Carlos Vandal unveils new darkwave single “Whispers Dance” via Russian label Scent Air Records
Santiago, Chile — [Date TBA] — Chilean musician Carlos Vandal announces the upcoming release of his new single “Whispers Dance”, a haunting and emotional darkwave piece set to be released soon through the renowned Russian label Scent Air Records. The official release date will be announced shortly.
Inspired by a dream where Vandal encountered loved ones and pets who had passed away, “Whispers Dance” contemplates death not as a tragedy, but as a quiet and inevitable transition—a final dance we are all destined to join. “Death arrives without warning. You just have to let go and join the dance that we’ll all take part in eventually,” says Vandal. The song was written, produced, mixed, and mastered by the artist himself at Noiser Studios in Santiago, Chile.
With its immersive atmosphere and melancholic textures, “Whispers Dance” blends dark, emotive synth layers with intimate vocals, channeling both classic and modern darkwave influences.

Carlos Vandal is best known as the frontman of Chilean alternative rock band Amoniaco, with whom he shared stages with international icons like The Cure and Clan of Xymox. In 2025, he launched his solo career with the singles “Red Moon” and “Crucified Obsession”, quickly gaining attention as a rising voice in Latin American darkwave. His music blends a strong DIY ethic, emotional depth, and dark aesthetics.
