1.Let Me Disappear
At the crossroads of synth-pop and darkwave, a new project emerges – Stage Fever, a duo formed by Alexander Hart and Ekaterina Li from Perm, Russia. Their debut single, “Let Me Disappear,” tells a story of escaping the past, finding beauty in destruction, and the desire to dissolve into one’s own shadows.
The track blends a driving rhythm, dark synthetic guitars, and rich layers of synthesizers, creating an atmosphere of melancholic dance energy. The music of Stage Fever balances between the cold euphoria of the dance floor and deep personal drama.
“Let Me Disappear” feels like a dance on the edge of sleep and pain – holding both freedom and inevitability. It’s a song about how, sometimes, disappearing is the only way to survive.
Stage Fever grew out of the post-punk/coldwave project Polycythemia, in which Alexander Hart was a member. The new project continues the aesthetics of cold melodies and emotional detachment, while adding more light, synthetic textures, and rhythmic intensity.
