Written in 2024 and included on the upcoming album “Dofamin”, the song tells a surreal story, inviting to explore the depths of the universe through a labyrinth of allegories and metaphors, where every listener will find their own personal energy in the music. Elena Kabsburg’s solo project is a sonic wake-up call, a fresh concept featuring a luminous and expansive voice, paired with carefully crafted arrangements and a touch of electro-fusion. The music that compels reflection, provoking existential questions such as “Who are we?” and “Where are we headed in this vast universe?”
The project’s artistry is original and boundless, challenging stylistic boundaries and redefining familiar sounds through a fresh perspective.
Over 15 years, the Elena Kabsburg has released one album and four singles. In the frosty winter of 2015, a new music piece “Gorod” marked the start of an active partnership with the Parnas recording label. After recording the album and filming the music video, the project transformed into a studio-based endeavor. Singles such as “Vniz” and “AlterEgo” gained attention, playing on prominent radio stations.
Revived in 2019 with a wealth of accumulated material, the music took on a bold new sonic identity. Elements of industrial and gothic became more prominent, while the style evolved into something more electronic and driven.
By spring 2025, work had begun on the album “Dofamin”, featuring compositions written since 2017. The sound of the album is a combination of classic EBM and electro-fusion, tinged with gothic and industrial rock, all underpinned by the project’s signature cosmic lyrics. The experimentation with new sounds and textures has taken the music to new heights. Multilayered female vocals weave through the tracks, intertwining with lyrics inspired by scientific terms. The new aesthetic blends emotions of naivety with cunning anger, driven by upbeat melody and glimpses into a surreal universe.
With a wealth of musical experience, raw vocals and charisma, the artist has created audacious and lyrical material that is urgent and filled depth.
