Elektroterapi presents a new EP called «Страх» («Fear»), which tells mysterious and sometimes dangerous stories of the heroine of the project’s surreal world. You will hear fiery melodies, to which you will involuntarily rush to dance, find hidden meanings and metaphors, which risk being revealed.
The release opens with the track «Загублена». It’s a drama with elements of trap and witch house about an unfortunate witch who relied on power of her charms only to appear in the paws of a werewolf, who outwitted her.
Another track includes storylines from M.A. Bulgakov’s immortal novels, which come alive on the streets of a mystical City. Russian and German lyrics together with the invited Reagent’s vocalist, whose voice boils high passions, gives the dark pop intrigue called «Vollmond» special charm and point.
The release finishes with a techno story «Zlamane Serce» about a Polish cover girl and unrequited love, which happens unexpectedly and gets straight into the heart.
The new EP «Страх» is another key into the mysterious world of Elektroterapi.
Elektroterapi is a project from Moscow, born at the border of “dark pop” and “future pop”. It is not limited by strict rules of the genres using elements of “dark wave” and even “hard trance” in its tracks.
Within 6 years of its existence, Elektroterapi has released two albums and over 10 singles. The project encounters quite a few joint works with musicians from all over the world, including a remix of “I’d die for you” by the legendary Suicide Commando from Belgium.
Elektroterapi has been a participant of such festivals as Koenig Synth Fest, Halloween – clubbers from hell, Urban Elves Fest and others.
Elektroterapi is an imaginary reality filled with music, visuality and history. The only participant of the project might have a personality disorder or she is a master of disguise. Either way, there are three characters in the project.
Doctor is the main villain and antagonist of the mystic world of Elektroterapi, who reveals a secret of her frightening medical experiments to the rhythms of trance.
Romantic Julie is either a prototype of the creator or the deadliest weapon in the Doctor’s hands. Now and then she tells her stories in …the Polish language.
And, at last, there is the main protagonist of surreal reality, like someone from horror movies, but singing about Dark electro romance with distorted words of love.
Elektroterapi’s tracks are sung on behalf of its heroes; however, in their metaphors and thinly veiled stories you can easily read what inspired the author.
